About CAA
"China Athletics Association" Established in 1954, it is a national and professional social organization voluntarily formed by units and individuals of the people's Republic of China who are enthusiastic, supportive and engaged in track and field sports and related work. It is a group member of the all China Sports Federation and a national sports association recognized by the Chinese Olympic Committee to govern track and field sports It is the only legal organization recognized by the International Federation of track and field associations, Asian Track and field Federation and corresponding international and regional track and field organizations to participate in international track and field activities on behalf of China.

History
Founded in 1954, China Track and field association is headquartered in Beijing. The highest authority is the member congress and the executive body is the Committee.
The former "China Sports Association" joined the international amateur track and field Federation in 1928, and the people's Republic of China was founded in 1949,"All China Sports Association" was reorganized into "all China Sports Association" and continued to be a member of IAAF. In 1958, in order to oppose the conspiracy to create "two Chinas", the general manager of the Chinese Sports Association announced to withdraw from the IAAF. In 1978, IAAF restored the legal status of China Track and field association in the association.
